Dr. James Aluri, M.D., M.A., is a board-certified psychiatrist whose research program focuses on improving the mental health of college students. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in University Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) School of Medicine. His research has examined ADHD services on college campuses and student service utilization patterns. This work led to his receiving the 2024 CHADD Young Scientist Award. In his clinical work, he cares for JHU learners and trainees at JHU Mental Health Services and works on an inpatient unit that serves young adults.
