Job Title
Certified Functional Nutritionist & Certified ADHD Life Coach
Speaker Bio (200 words)
Amy Jones is a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner, a Certified ADHD Life Coach, an Ontario Certified Teacher, and MSc Applied Neuroscience candidate. Her work is shaped not only by professional training, but by lived experience. After being diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Amy began reinterpreting years of overwhelm, inconsistency, burnout, and food friction through a very different lens. What had once looked like failure or lack of follow-through started to make sense as a capacity issue involving physiology, executive function, and systems that didn’t fit how her brain and body actually worked.
With more than 20 years in education, Amy is known for making complex ideas clear, practical, and deeply human. She brings together nutrition science, applied neuroscience, and cognitive ergonomics to help people understand why eating can become disproportionately difficult when stress is high, working memory is overloaded, and daily life is already asking too much. Her teaching focuses on reducing friction, supporting regulation, and building strategies that work in real life, including on low-capacity days.
