Jay Perry is a pioneer in the coaching profession and the founder of Storysphere Central, a community designed to explore the power of story in our lives and in the world. With over 30 years of experience, Jay uses narrative intelligence to help creative professionals and executives rewrite the scripts of their lives and careers.
A founding member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Jay has been instrumental in shaping the global coaching landscape. His expertise is particularly sought after in the realm of neurodiversity as a senior faculty member at the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and a co-creator of the credentialling system for ADHD coaches at PAAC.
Jay’s diverse client list has included Emmy-winning writers, performers, and leaders at Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T and Genentech. He is the co-author of Take Charge of Your Talent and a contributor to Substack, where he explores the "Storysphere"— the narrative ecosystem that gives us identity and lives of meaning.
Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Jay holds an M.F.A. from Ohio University and a B.F.A. from Boston University. He remains dedicated to "Story Thinking" as a tool for building adaptable, imaginative, and emotionally resonant life plans.
