Karen Jones is an executive coach, communications consultant, and educator whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, communication, and neurocomplexity. She brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her coaching work with executives and other professionals.

Karen spent more than 20 years at HBO, rising to Executive Vice President and Head of Communications, where she served as a C-suite advisor and led a bicoastal team through multiple periods of industry transformation. Through her coaching and consulting practice, The Jones Code, she now partners with mid-career executives to support sustainable leadership, navigate career growth, and communicate with impact.

An ICF-certified coach (ACC) with training in supporting clients with ADHD, Karen also serves as an Adjunct Professor at USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, teaching graduate-level courses. She completed her coaching training with the Hudson Institute of Coaching and obtained ADHD-specific coaching training from Coach Approach Training Institute.

Committed to mentoring emerging professionals from underrepresented backgrounds, Karen serves on the board of Ready to Succeed, which supports foster-impacted youth in college and into the workforce.

Born in South Los Angeles, Karen received her BA magna cum laude in French from Amherst College.
