Kristen Carder is an author, educator, certified coach, and podcast host who has helped thousands of adults with ADHD build lives they’re proud of. She is the founder of FOCUSED, a global coaching program that has served over 5,000 adults with ADHD since 2020, and the host of the top-ranked I Have ADHD Podcast, with more than 10 million downloads. Kristen began her work with ADHDers in 2012 and has since become a sought-after voice in the field, known for her trauma-informed, shame-free, and deeply practical approach.
She is the author of You’re Not In Trouble: An ADHD Guide to Building Healthy, Connected Relationships (DK, Penguin Random House, 2026), where she teaches adults how to stop using shame as a motivator and instead build self-compassion, emotional regulation, and secure, connected relationships. Kristen holds multiple coaching certifications and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
