This session is designed to be an interactive, participatory, and open discussion between a panel of diverse treatment providers who specialize in adult ADHD and audience members, particularly individuals with ADHD, their loved ones, and other stakeholders. It’s an opportunity to give voice to constructive feedback of existing limitations of and gaps in various treatments and other ways such approaches and other supportive services can be improved. This discussion will also focus on ways that providers, educators, and other ADHD-facing professionals can be more informed about and responsive to the real-life needs of adults with ADHD and to better promote overall health, well-being, and dignity for adults with ADHD.
It is hoped that this summary will help inform and influence the implementation of forthcoming assessment and treatment guidelines for adult ADHD in different ADHD-facing professions. A summary of the main take-away themes conceivably will be published and disseminated in some manner.
