Feeling a bit overwhelmed or on edge after all of the “people-ing” required during the conference? It’s normal to feel stressed when learning new things and meeting new people in an unfamiliar place while trying to keep track of your belongings on a different schedule. (Maybe you feel that way all of the time.) Join us during the lunch break to decrease your stress and reset your mind. We’ll spend a few minutes brain dumping all of the chaos swirling around your brain while you eat your lunch, then we’ll take the remaining time to calm your mind and find your mental happy place. This is an alternative to meditation that you won’t hate – it’s not boring, confining, nor impossible. No prior skill required, other than being present and bringing your lunch, if you’d like to eat one. Introverts, extroverts, inattentive, and hyperactive all welcome. You’ll leave feeling restored and ready to hit your conference goals. Plus you’ll have this reset skill to use for yourself or with those in your care anytime you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or on edge. Grab lunch and join us for a few minutes of peace!
