Zumba-"Ditch the Workout and Join the Party"
Description
Are you looking for a high-energy workout to lift your mood, reduce stress, sharpen focus, and improve coordination and balance—all in a socially engaging, party-like atmosphere? Then you’ve come to the right place. In this wellness activity, you’ll discover—as I did—that Zumba can support your ADHD wellbeing through simple, easy-to-follow movements set to energizing Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, and reggaeton. Your ADHD brain will be stimulated while getting a full-body workout. Along the way, you’ll burn calories, improve your cardiovascular health, build endurance and enhance muscle tone and flexibility. Best of all, you’ll reconnect with music and movement and explore how movement based activities like Zumba can support ADHD emotional regulation through direct experience and learn how to incorporate music and movement into sustainable self-care daily routines. All are welcome—whether you’re a curious beginner or a seasoned Zumba enthusiast. There’s not a “right” way to do this—just your way. Think creatively. Move freely. Play to your ADHD strengths and, most of all, have fun. Take a risk, let go of perfection and—“DITCH THE WORKOUT AND JOIN THE PARTY.”
