Sensory issues can occur during sexual play! This workshop aims to explore the impact of sensory issues on sexuality. We will discuss the effects, both positive and negative, of sensory issues specific to sex, explore sensory issues which may be getting in your way as well as identify helpful accommodations. The importance of communicating sensory issues to a partner, both during and after sexual play will also be discussed. Sensory issues that occur during sex are often dismissed or remain unacknowledged. Sensory issues can lead to decreased enjoyment or difficulty focusing on sexual play.
